As part of a significant order for a valued client, our team successfully completed the manufacture, assembly, and supply of 1,100 lifting chains, demonstrating our ability to deliver large-scale projects without compromising on quality, traceability, or attention to detail.

This was far more than a standard chain supply contract. Each chain was specified with a sherardized coating, a specialist zinc diffusion treatment designed to provide superior corrosion resistance and extend service life in demanding environments. This protective finish is particularly beneficial for equipment operating in harsh outdoor or industrial conditions, where exposure to moisture and corrosive elements can significantly reduce the lifespan of untreated components.

All 1,100 chains were meticulously assembled by our experienced team at our Coatbridge workshop. Throughout the project, strict quality control procedures were followed to ensure every assembly met the required specification before leaving our facility. The scale of the order required careful planning, efficient stock management, and coordinated production scheduling to ensure the customer’s delivery requirements were met on time.

In addition to the chain assemblies, the project also included the supply of 1,000 x 3.25 tonne bow shackles, providing the customer with a complete lifting solution from a single source. By combining the chain assemblies and associated lifting hardware into one coordinated delivery, we were able to simplify procurement and ensure full compatibility across all supplied equipment.
